Gah, bereft of the stunning TDR artwork that adorned the original :( -

A satisfying serving of prime Detroit Techno, with an overarching concept to tickle the taste buds even further. -

So, shall there be a reissue for the 30 year anniversary, next year? Hope so! My copy needs some reissue help!❤️👌
So update. I just noticed Metroplex will re-issue this beautiful album as a remastered double ep, out in Nov 2024. Very happy consumer.❤️😊 -

There's also a version of this, before the one noted as the 1999 reissue (I know I bought my copy in early '98) with the thin one-side-die-cut paper inner bags and the typical black/silver R&S labels of the time. -

Timeless... it is unbelievably futuristic and Electro by definition. When I finally realized that it was in fact Detroit's very own Jeff Mills? It literally destroyed me. I will always h**e you for not telling me... "- Did you not know that? Everyone knows that..." -

This is such a beautiful landmark Detroit Techno album. This and that double EP with ‘I wanna be there’ on it and ‘the chase’ EP on Apollo are three jewels in the R+S back cat crown. And the ones I own. If you like early Black Dog, Transmat, Plaid, ART records, Likemind etc then you’ll love these records from around that time. Funky but soothing cosmic Detroit electronic soul music is the order of the day.
The music will move your mind to outer space while your ass gets a wiggle on.
Classic! -

This is timeless and peope freak out when it's played because most people have no clue what it is. Went totally under the radar when released at least in this area, you know the whole trip hop thing was saturating the sounds at the time. -
