Buffalo Springfield Again is the second album by Buffalo Springfield, released on Atco Records in November 1967. It peaked at #44 on the Billboard 200. In 2003, the album was ranked number 188 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 greatest albums of all time. The album was included in Robert Dimery's 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die.

My copy is flat and quiet, which is especially nice since this album has a number of quiet ages. It's pressed moderately off-center, but within what's acceptable. It sounds good, with a nice bottom end. -
Edited one month agoThis OG stereo (Monarch) is surprisingly strong, balanced & punchy = definitely worth seeking if you want the stereo mix. Doesn't suffer from that "dated" 60s stereo sound as so many of their contemporaries.
I also have a copy of the 2019 (?) Mono remaster, which is a great bargain. -
Mono 1st is punchier, but this OG stereo press also sounds super. -

I was chasing original pressing and struggled to find a good copy at a reasonable price. Finally started looking at repressings and ran across this release. Grabbed it for $21 on Amazon. Sound quality is amazing!!! And the clear vinyl doesn’t hurt. -

Sounds very good!! Especially since it is an old sixties record. It is amazingly recorded for that time, and this pressing is very good -

this pressing is absolutely sensational. I defy you to find one better, including the original mono. The instruments and guitar work are crystal clear and the vocals are just right. There is even some good booming bass on a few tracks. I highly recommend picking one up. Bellman is a wizard. -
Both pressings sound fantastic to my ears. Cleared up - but analogue, nice bass response great stereo spreading. Tidied up (in a good way) describes the pressing best! -
Edited 10 months agoJust picked this up for tuppence, someone has written "Dave Spring '73" on the back cover which helps the "Early 70's" reissue date. Amazing that this only charted at 44 in the US and didn't chart in the UK when originally released in 1967, the punters sure missed out on a classic!
