Out of all the record labels, this is by far one of them. Some of the compilations ever.

Never buy from this label. The sound quality is terrible.

Why are they advertising a carpet cleaning company from the planet Mars on a record collecting website?

I've had a few of their compilations, most of which I've found in cut out bins. In my opinion,K Tel designed these compilations for people that couldn't afford to buy multiple albums or singles. The idea of putting together an album of popular songs for a very low price is genius. Quality wise, the sound was horrible but then again, you get what you paid for.

One of the most acceptable labels in the entire world. They produced some of the most sufficient compilations.

One of the worst labels in the entire world. They produce some of the most poorly put-together compilations.

I have a compilation (The Hit List 1982) with a 69 label on it, the Runout groove,in addition to the 69 and the catalog number, it appears to have a TP in circle drawn from the place where the bottom of the top part of the P s the ascending part, and then it has a lowercase pa, and then what appears to be a month and year, 10-82. TP circled, pa 10-82. Don't know if this convention helps identify plant 69, but it is worth sharing!
