First track has horrible crackling. Some in other spots. Pretty disappointed. Cleaned the LP with a VPI before play, so it’s definitely the pressing.

Really, really glad they just reissued the original rather than coming up with some newfangled modern artwork for the cover. This is my first colored vinyl, which from what I gather has a bad reputation, but this sounds real clean (aesthetically, the turquoise seems kind of random at first but oddly enough works as an 'in-between' shade for Batman and the Joker). Shame they couldn't fit "Childhood ed" (consistent with the original release) which is my only regret; I like the other omitted track, "Kitchen, Surgery, Face-Off" as well, but that one's similar enough to other tracks that I can live without it.

P.S. Never rub another man's rhubarb!

Fantastic sounding pressing. I've looked for years trying to find an original, but this one is just plain amazing. I was leary to buy colored vinyl, but this just blows me away. Bearing in mind that it was recorded digitally back in '89, this pressing sounds analog. It really fills the room. I had a little static during the first 15 seconds or so of side 1, but that could very well have been my error. The one complaint I have is about the packaging. The cover is a little flimsy, and the inner sleeve arrived torn through on the outer side. It had actually split through the shrink a little. But other than that 5/5 stars

Anyone else have some “staticky distortion in the the opening track? Just got it today and at the end of the Batman Theme is a bunch of pressing glitches.
