Perhaps the best soundtrack for me. The movie is amazing and that's exactly what the music sounds like. On vinyl in this version a pleasure. No crackling, no hissing, just pure musical enjoyment. The basses are thumping in some ages.
-
Probably one of my Top 10 favorite soundtracks. Sounds good on vinyl but I will it does sound better digitally. But it is fun spinning it on my player with these color discs. Highly recommended!
-
Edited one year agoGenerally a good sound. A couple of crackle sounds on record two. Couldn’t clean them away.
Sadly many soundtracks have lower quality control standard, it seems. That’s why I seldom buy soundtracks on vinyl. -
Not just some of Daft Punk's best work, but one of the best OST's for any film that I've come across. An easy 9/10.
-
I bought it. And even though I think it is the german version the sleeves are made of paper... Just like every video on YouTube. Was it supposed for the german version to have anti static sleeves?
-
Great album. Daft Punk really nailed it. B3 - End Of Line is my benchmark song, and a track I put on when I just need to vibe.
-
For me, this is one of the greatest film OSTs of all time, maybe the best really. I have three different pressings of this album, and of the two that I've actually played this one sounds the best (sorry Mondo pressing). It's probably my most spinned record in my collection, and for good reason. If Tron 3 ever gets off the ground, its OST has a lot to live up to.
-
Disc 1 Side 2 seems to be pressed slightly off centre, creating a slight wavering pitch. However there seems to be little surface noise present on my copy.
-
-
Hmm some static here and there but mostly a decent pressing. I'll probably get the recent black reissue that seems to be getting raves online.
