Bought a copy today and I'm totally fine with this bootleg. Sounds just as I expected it to be and it came in a nice looking black sleeve with AFX logo.

A lot of the tracks RDJ has been releasing on his soundcloud are from tape. A lot of his music is lo-fi anyway so don't be bothered by these people talking about the bad quality of the vinyl just because it's a bootleg.

Regardless of being a bootleg, it's actually a pretty decent release. The pressing is ok, of course the bass is a bit flat since it's pressed from mp3s. But even the mp3s weren't the best quality you would expect today since they were ripped from a 15 odd years old vinyl record. So the small crackling sounds are actually on the mp3s as well. Apart from that I think it's still great to get those titles in vinyl (for less then $ 43,500). And the makers of this bootleg could have gone for a much higher retailer price - which they didn't. I got my copy for 15 € which is actually pretty cheap for a limited clear vinyl release of those lost gems. So now, go get it.

I was told when purchasing this that it was produced from the vinyl test-pressing bought by Markus Persson in the infamous ebay auction. Regardless of what difference that makes to the value of this record, how –if at all– can we determine its true origin? Some of the commenters on this item seem pretty sure of where it's coming from; got anything to back up those claims?

why doesn't Rephlex just avoid all of this nonsense and press up a high quality version on cd and vinyl.....?

There is more. From where you know about quality of a sound on this edition? The album only still appeared on sale. Or you bought it, listened and it wasn't pleasant to you?)))
And can do it jealousy or envy that someone made this album, and someone missed an album exit in 1994!)))
