Great soundtrack although I don’t understand why there’s lack of Underworld’s “Dark and Long” track. Seems that every Trainspotting soundtrack on vinyl doesn’t have it despite it beeing in the movie.
As for the vinyl itself - almost every track has great depth, nice dynamics… except Lou Reed’s “Perfect Day”. Some werid distortions happen during the song but cleaning it with ultrasonic cleaner helped a lot (but not completely). Buy different version of this soundtrack if you can because sonically there’s a lot of room for improvement. -
Great soundtrack, with very uneven quality. Some songs sound fantastic, some sound flat and lifeless. It is still able and the collection of tunes and the memories they evoke are still worth it. But could have been so much better.

On my copy I’m found crack on Begbie photo. Not disappointed. Just think that I received “exclusive one”. Sounds amazing!

My copy of this pressing sounds fantastic. One of my all time favorite soundtracks and great pressing - both visually and audio quality. Don't be afraid to grab a copy of this pressing. Clearly, there are plenty of quality issues from this run. -

Glad I didn't read the comments before buying or I probably would have ed on it. My orange copy of this is absolute perfection. "Deep Blue Day" might be the best sounding cut. Or the Elastica one maybe. I'm sorry to those who got flawed ones-- keep trying! -
Musically, I consider this one of the quintessential 90s albums (despite that fact that a good chunk of the music originates from the previous decades). Visually, these orange pressing looks amazing. Fidelity wise...soooooooooo disappointed. Nonfill everywhere. On mine, it's especially noticeable on Brian Eno's track...perhaps the worse track to get it on. I'm getting so tired of buying brand new records that I couldn't honestly grade higher than VG.
