Edited one year agoAbsolutely brilliant pressing. I will leave the technical details to the other reviewers and talk about my feelings when listening to this. Man, listening to this made wish even more that Stevie was still with us. In fact he kind of still is whenever we listen to his songs, and especially when they sound like they do in this pressing. He would be proud of this release… it just kicks serious ass. As I write this, Riviera Paradise has started playing and it’s time to float away… cheers everyone. Rest in peace Stevie

Omg are you freaking kidding me AP!?!?
I'm gonna keep this relatively short and sweet, this pressing like all others I've encountered from AP/QRP is flawless. Flat pressing, clean out of the wrapper vinyl with high quality inner (important to me), zero noise throughout, amazing dynamics, clarity and separation of instruments and voice, and punchy bass (slight bass boom at higher SPLs in my room and system, this is my fault, not the pressing, I could fix this, but I'm just too lazy to dampen my TT cover and/or re-EQ for specific vinyl listening on a system set up for all around enjoyment of multiple media types).
Like some others, I had some snap crackle pop towards the very end of Riviera, which I attribute to static buildup, not a flaw in the pressing. I could go deeply into why I come to such a conclusion, but why bother this is a review not an unsolicited attempt to educate (lol).
I'll just say it's another huge win for AP/QRP, and I'll be getting more for sure! -
Superb pressing. Crisp and clear with each instrument beautifully highlighted.. Absolutely no pops or ticks. Must have for any Stevie Ray or Blues fan.

My copy has side one through side four listed on the lyric side of the gatefold. Looks like I have the 45rpm lyric sheet on my 33 jacket. Are they all like this?
Sounds absolutely wonderful! -
Amazing pressing of SRV’s last album. One of the greatest guitarists in beautiful, crisp and clear high definition.
-
Superb album from one of the greatest guitar player of all times. Dead silent vinyl, fantastic quality.
