Tremendous record. I know it's sacrilegious to say it (pun not intended), but I think this might be Dylan's best record since Blonde on Blonde. Musically, he's in top form. Lyrically - it's like he's caught his second wind. He's writing with a purpose like he hadn't had for years. He's polemicizing the crooks and sinners of society. I can understand why some find the sudden transformation of Dylan's ethical/political commitments grating, but he is nonetheless one of music's great all-time polemicists. And he brings all his tools to bear here. The pressing sounds solid.
