I'm astonished how no one yet mentioned that "In the Bush" is heavily based on Mory Kante - Yé Ké Yé Ke (The Afro-Acid Mix) from 1987. Amazing tune on its own, and not even expensive. Check it out!

"Black is the Number" and "In The Bush" are two of the best modern-era tunes ever made!

This release has it all. All 4 tracks are timeless classics, the design of the labels is great, heavyweight vinyl, released in the golden era, produced by Mills, released on Axis and the pre-start of the Purpose Maker label where a lot of tiny disco samples can be found. I consider this to be a must have in every techno record collection.

Wow, so many copies for sale of this seminal Mills plate from 1995... Well, most likely not, plenty will be selling the represses without the wide label groove (runs just under 1' from the outside of the label) & most came with wonky labels. If you owned this back then, you would have thrashed the sh*t out of it & are most likely on your 2nd or 3rd copy by now, such were & are it's charms... 'Casa' & 'In The Bush' are definitive of the genre & pure to the true form of techno. In fact there's a good reason why this is one of JM's best known releases; it is one of his best, most directional no messing floor killers...
