In the Bush is a great Tech House/Techno track, could loop that for years -

AX-11, 12 and 13 all arrived at my local record shop on the same day. Heads in my hometown flocked to snag copies. Pandamonium. -

looking back, the AX11 appeared to be my fave and most playable of the PM series (Steampit comes close second, but it's been played by everyone over and over, so you probably dont want to hear it again anytime soon)
this one however has not been abused this much and it still works the floor while sounding surprisingly fresh.
tbh the only case Ive got this out of the 130+ bag was when I replaced a battered copy with a fresh one.
i'd think some of the PM series could be replaced with SLS' Cycle recs, but this one has to stay. -

Funky and fast. It’s classic, unstoppable Jeff Mills. Can mix it into all kinds of other records. -

I'm astonished how no one yet mentioned that "In the Bush" is heavily based on Mory Kante - Yé Ké Yé Ke (The Afro-Acid Mix) from 1987. Amazing tune on its own, and not even expensive. Check it out! -

first techno record i bought. Genuinely couldn't get my head around it - but in a good way. Got #12 Humana at the same time and still love that as much as this record / maybe even more -

"Black is the Number" and "In The Bush" are two of the best modern-era tunes ever made! -

Casa. Love it. Any idea who did the artwork for the Purposemaker series? -

This release has it all. All 4 tracks are timeless classics, the design of the labels is great, heavyweight vinyl, released in the golden era, produced by Mills, released on Axis and the pre-start of the Purpose Maker label where a lot of tiny disco samples can be found. I consider this to be a must have in every techno record collection. -
