So I bought it, it's perfect as with most of the records that apparently don't sound right etc etc.
Buy with confidence, it's loud and clear, I swear to you!! -
From the reviews below you will not be able to decipher if the repress/remaster is actually any better than the original, I know I'm struggling.

Edited 3 years agoGreat remastered sound compared to the original. Good idea to have the tracks on a double 12“. Only the information on the label is wrong, it says 1986 but it’s actually from 1988. Hopefully this is an error and not on purpose to make it look cooler or more pioneering which it is anyway!

Reissued as a double pack, but the sound quality isn't much different from the original 12". In most tracks the hihats were hissing a lot and they have tried to remove it with EQ, with reasonable success. But overall, IMO, they removed too much treble on all tracks. Especially on the deep house side the tracks sound too muffled while they sound great on the original release.

I'm not happy with the sound quality, must be a vinyl rip, with a lot of edition. But I don't know the quality of the original!

Edited 9 years agoI was waiting soo long for this - and I'm not dissapointed. The pressing quality is excellent and the sound is simply awesome! Those 303 lines in "The Acid Life" are growling as deep as one could ever wish. Finally, this acid house masterpiece is ready to hit the floors again after almost 30 years. 30 years, can you imagine? And still such a killer! Thank you, Trax people, so much for this.
