Edited 3 months agoHighly recommended!
My copy has the 'Made in Czech Republic' sticker. Sound-wise, it is a dramatic improvement over the brickwalled CD pressing (foobar2000 normalized the CD rip to -12dB, LOL). The pressing is quiet, sound is dynamic, and distortions are missing. -
Edited 9 months agoToo fast, drum thundering and repetitious for me. Guess I'm off the metal bandwagon then. This Euro pressing you guys are talking about doesn't sound that great to me. The US must be pure garbage. Megadeth can do better and the Sick Dying & Dead proves it.

Got this copy because people saying it was clear of pops and clicks. Not my copy last 3 songs on side is bad. More noticed at Is quiet spots.
Sound otherwise is good. But I expected better and free of the pops and clicks. -
Fantastic pressing, loads of dynamic range, clear, crisp sound and very crankable no clicks or pops. Im sure its 180g too!

there is a version of this being sold via Amazon US that doesn't have the digital card or sticker. everything else seems the same. fairly clear mix and quiet.

I don't know why but the EU copy i got from my local record store has side 2 pressed on both sides there is no side 1 what the hell? it sounds really good but how did they screw up both sides of the record?
-
This is the copy to get! It's clear and dynamic. Don't waste your money on the US pressing (full of distortion). It should have been done by a different company.

Edited 9 years agoAny pressing info for the EU copy? The US copy I tried was pressed by Circle U (URP) and is definitely not one of their better efforts (drilled off center and all kinds of distortion) so I promptly returned it. They also packed it inside the gloss inner sleeve (no scratch free sleeve) which of course had already affected the LP surface during shipping. As long as URP is pressing them I will not pay for another US copy.

Received my signed copy from PledgeMusic with Kiko's signature missing. I've already confirmed that it should have all four . Just curious to see if anyone else has this issue?
