So I recently got a copy of this (Missed it when released, I was spinning post punk new wave goth) My B side labels the dun mix as "DUM Mix" Same time just a misprint? maybe?

Can’t tell how many times I listened this song in my life
Timeless masterpiece
The Kevorkian Mix is awesome -
Just out of interested I'd like to know how many times the chorus of this was sampled. I'm sure I've heard it in about 4 or 5 tracks...Does anyone know ?

is there anything up with the run time for the dub version of 3:44. The only versions I can find of the Dub are either 2:42 or 4:21 in length. It looks like the 7" had an instrumental version of 4:25 which is odd.

Edited 18 years agoD-Train lay down another eminently uplifiting slice of late disco. Like thier other releases on Prelude, Keep On is positive, and advocates above all else strength in the face of adversity and to always reach out for your goals. This track has that characteristic D-Train vocal break where they bring in two or three voices layered on top of each other to create a beautiful harmony whilst delivering an uplifiting message: "The sky is the limit and you know that you keep on, just keep on pressin' on; the sky is the limit and you know that you can have what you want, be who you want." This music is very inspiring and makes you want to climb a mountain top.

Edited 20 years agoAll-time classic underground anthem. What old-school disco jocks DIDN'T play this and "You're The One For Me"? This is disco/proto-house with SOUL, and it's a great positive-message anthem with BALLS. Not corny at all, not "religious", and it'll never ever sound dated either. The DUB mix is one of Francois Kevorkian's top 10 mixes of all time IMHO: It starts off with minimal, sparkling piano with reverb, and the conga comes in, then the vocals and bass-line, and it builds into a dramatic conclusion and will devastate any underground old-school dancefloor.
