Must have record but below average pressing. You’d be better listening to the CD or the streaming version. Is particularly disappointing on Octavarium where the final lacks dynamic

I really like the snare drum and kick sound of this vinyl master, although the rest is a bit strange. No clicks or pops on my copy.
Buy it if you find it!

Mirroring some of the other comments. The mastering is sub-par when compared with the CD release. It's a shame too because, the pressing itself is great, it even includes poly-lined sleeves instead of just paper which is always nice.

This Release is terrible, dynamic is creepy but the pressing is perfect . On digtal or CD there are fine and better dynymics !

I agree with everyone else on this issue. I wouldn't say that the mastering for Octavarium for this release is god-awful but it is mediocre at best. I'd reccomend listening to Octavarium on CD for better dynamics and better mastering. I still think it's worth it to have it on vinyl but the listening experience isn't quite as good as I would want it to be otherwise. Everything other than that, this is a good pressing; great gloss and high definition cover art with a gatefold jacket; the record is fairly heavyweight and there are just a few pops only on the dead silent parts of the songs.

Terrible mastering, dull, blurry. The album itself is beautiful, I will buy CD.

1st Song a bit overdriven. The Bass is a lil bit too much. Bad mastering. A few pops and clicks.
