None of these tracks are as good as the finished versions. It's fairly interesting to listen to them once but after that I would always go back to the originals. I know Dylan scholars are drooling over this, but for me it's merely an academic exercise.
I was initially tempted by the 6 CD effort - but I'm glad I saved my money. Life is too short to wade through 20 versions of Like a Rolling Stone - only to discover the the original, finished version was the best all along.
The best two tracks - I'll Keep it With Mine and She's Your Lover Now - have both been issued before as well, adding insult to injury.
There's other, much better volumes in the Bootleg series.

** Four years later and I just picked up the 6 CD version second hand. Maybe they picked the wrong versions on the Best Of 2 CD set but I'm really enjoying the expanded version. Or maybe my tastes just changed. I wonder what the 18 CD versions like.
