Great vinyl. Maybe I would like a little more details for A1, but it's still good. There is a slight drop in quality on the a7, but there are 7 tracks on each side, so I'm glad that ONLY the 7th is not so clear)))))) 5 out of 5

My recently bought sealed copy matches the runout and the cover barcode listed here except for not having the cover sticker or the mp3 insert. It's also stamped "Made In " on the back shrink. That being said it is a very good sounding pressing and worth the $14 spent.

I am lucky enough to own an OG nevermind. I bought this for 20 quid and was relatively surprised at the sound quality. A few tweeks on my system and I found it punchy and Kurt's voice was nice and clear. A steal for 20 quid in my opinion.

My copy is flat with no pops or clicks which is great but to echo a few others it’s just an okay sounding pressing. Not super punchy like I’d like for Nirvana, I really have to crank my speakers to get the sound I want.

great tracklist, it's music history, but the press it's an Ok, nothing special

No sticker on my (sealed) copy but the runouts match. Might be a new pressing from the same stamper? Read the reviews below, had to laugh that one says too quiet, one too loud... Maybe it's that the low frequencies sound really big and the guitar gets a bit lost in it (in the early recordings anyway). The dynamics are pretty good overall, no problems that get in the way of enjoying the music.

Super quiet 180g reissue. Doesn't have the last 2 tracks as the original or include a inner sheet, but for €10 I can't complain. Great compilation to own.

This Nirvana collection features most of their great songs which any fan can adore. If that is simply all you want then look no further. After listening however, I felt like it mostly delivers what it promises as a release, but ultimately does not impress either. The songs sound fine for the most part but seem to not be tampered or remastered very much. Some are seemingly taken straight from their live recordings without adjustment, resulting in what you could call flat or compressed sound. Im not one to use adjectives for describing music but they could have done a lot more to bring Nirvanas music to life. The sleeves are much like the music very simple and straightforward, a black cover with Nirvana on it. No extra content except the code. There is nothing that I would call bad about this release but nothing to praise either. But I suppose Nirvana never really was an audiophile band. Still above average and Im sure the 45RPM double disc issue will bring the dynamics and clarity up a notch, go for that if changing records and speeds doesnt bother you.
