I cannot possibly understand ANY praise this awful din gets. How could any poor listener find anything of note (pun intended) in this ear-bleeding monstrosity. The score to Terminator 2 is so horrific that it will make you long to be deaf. It's truly one of the worst scores to a mainstream movie, or any movie, ever composed. Yeah...like this was composed. Decomposed more like.

You want a summary of the music?

CLANG! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! BOOM! CLANG! CRASH! BOOM! CLANG! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE! NOISE!

Terminator 2 is searing sonic agony. A cacophony of pain and anguish. The very sound of disorientation and confusion. Listening to this score from beginning to end will lead to madness and despair. It's honestly one of the absolute worst acoustic abominations ever inflicted upon mankind.

How could I say that about the iconic Terminator theme? To be fair, that is from the first movie, which is a better score. Fiedel's idea of scoring T2, then the most expensive movie ever made, appeared to be swinging a wrecking ball at a drum kit while whacking iron rods against a blaring tractor engine.

If you must own a Terminator score go for either the first or third, this is not a sound you want damaging your ears and mind.
