Edited 2 months agoOn the first spin of a sealed M copy (don't be jealous), I was blown away by the sonics, especially after just listening to the '24 reissue. Wider, more dynamic, and just an aural treasure unearthed from a 40-year time capsule. :)

Edited one year agoI have had a half dozen versions of the 85 pressings. Of those, this one is the best to my ears. Joe Boyd didn't win many fans with this release over all. Sonically a bit muted, still this version shows some life.
