Typically Leftfield and another amazing sound production lead by Neil Barnes. Up there with Leftism in my opinion. Head and shoulders above the rest ! -
I love this record. Great sound, pressing is excellent and although different from the other classic albums I love every track. -
Edited 5 months agoWish there was a bilocation single on vinyl ... I like most of this album but have a hard time with a few songs. Or they could have put head and shoulders and little fish on side 3 there and we could forget the whole side existed. The rest of the songs in this album are great and bilocation is absolutely fantastic. -
Great album and a must, pure leftfield sound and the quality of the pressing is fantastic -
You can hear the leftfield vibe amongst the tracks - if you really listen :) My copy offered as a bonus lots of noise on quiet parts. Listen to the complete album and overall it’s a good listening experience. -
This doesn't immediately grab you as with the others because the others created this entire genre of house. So influencial have Leftfield been, it's been done thousands of times since by anyone looking to make a mark. Give this a play, let it play out, you can hear their style, it's a really solid dance record, and a very good one. This would have a much higher rating if they released it 10 years earlier. The sleeves and pressings (2lp) are terrific btw. -
Well, some nice sounds in there amongst the terrors. But still, this left me completely cold; no spine tingling goodness to be had anywhere - some very run-of-the-mill club tracks followed by a number of wannabe chart toppers. Awful. What a shame.

Edited 9 years agoYikes. A 16-year wait for this?? Awful album, and I couldn't be a larger er of Leftfield since the beginning. Sounds like your typical run-of-the-mill melodramatic electronics you hear on top 40 radio, just an ugly mess of stereotypical blandness. I always loved the way Leftfield evolved their sound through the years, but this album is the sound of a group hitting the artistic wall. Massive disappointment. -
very few words for say how is amazing this record!
if i have to be sincere i didn't expect a quality level like this! i think it doesn't touch the high level reached by " Rhythm And Stealth " ( a masterpiece ) but we are nearby ! the first playback can be disappointing but it is only a question of time ,let's tracks like
Bad Radio , Universal Everything , Head And Shoulders and Dark Matters grab you !
