The first album is the best. After the Prodigy has changed a style, they turned to the commerce and lost their unique soleness. Such brilliant great album is one. All subsequent 'cyberpunk' stuff is mostly crap. Why would Liam do not create a new album in that "Experience" spirit? It would be their salvation on a background of their decline. Liam Howlett, it can do only you!

great album. Nearly every song is based on samples here but that doesn’t matter.
My older sister bought me this album when i was 10 years old. Great album and good memories. I lost the cassette and bought the cd in 1996 but then i threw it away but in 2019 i bought the digital album

A testament to the carefree raving times. Unpretentious, a bit raw and rough on the edges, but the heaps of fun Liam obviously had while producing this album is radiating from every second. Let's hyperspeed the beat, let's pitch up vocals, let's sample a kids' tv show, then let's sample some reggae as well... and what do you know - the result is a landmark in dance music, and an album that got many into electronic music. I still my amazement when I heard "Everybody in the place" for the first time.

Still got that heat!! Worth it for charly and outer space alone imo, its also full of great tracks that are amazingly good especially considering this being written in the early 90's

Quite simply, their best ever effort! What a raver I was when I was 12!!! Getting stoned in a darkened room around my mate's house, with huge speakers and bass bins all over the place... ah, such sweet memories... =OD

One day, back in early 1992, I was reading a copy of "Alternative Press" in which a wanker... er... no, he was a wanker, who ran a column typically berating electronic music came out guns firing on this album, making fun of the chipmunk vocals, arrangements, whatever else. Needless to say such criticism made me think the Prodigy were on to something,, And they were! While the vocals were occasionally annoying, this album burst at the seams with creativity, something which was in short supply in the rave scene at that very time.Where Liam and company went after that magical summer is your call but this album is a treasure for me.
