Extremely balanced set - dark and mysterious without being oppressive and constantly active while remaining focused. Works nicely as functional, "deep space" ambient but really shines with attentive listening as a piece of highly detailed sound research. Might just be the thematics but it does recall the clinical but slightly romantic Biosphere album "Autour De La Lune." Super nice.

...as with most Ambient Albums, hard to decide - better on Vinyl or cd (to listen as a hole)...what do you recommend?

Really adore this one, I've come back to it many times since its release and always find something new in the details. It's one of those albums you can just put on, sit back and connect with, bonding with the beautiful landscapes of sound. If you have some time to spare I would highly advise sinking into this one.
