Such a dynamic and clean pressing, the sound is punchy and really fills the room with all time classics that this record is filled with. From start to finish this masterpiece keeps you grooving and shaking them hips. It’s hard to find any flaws on this album, except it being too short. It’s a bit hard to find in the Netherlands but if you come across it, grab, pay and run back home fast to throw that needle in it. You won’t be dissatisfied.
Got it for €25,- directly from the personal collection of the owner of Vinyl Archief, Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

After "Harvest For The World" slowed things down just a bit for "The Isley Brothers", they came back BURSTING through with, "Go For Your Guns"....
This was a POWERHOUSE of an album!!!!!
Four years after "3+3" and no rust yet!!!! The Brothers are in pure form here with that perfect blend on "Soul", "Funk", and "Rock".....
They sounded like they were getting back to business with "The Pride (Part 1 & 2)"...This track sounded like the group handed it to "Marvin" and just said "Do Your Thing Man!!!!!"
One of the most sampled songs in history, "Footsteps In The Dark (Part 1 & 2)", is the Ultimate, Ultimate, Ultimate Ultimate Crown Jewel!!!!!! I that my Mother used to play this Record so much, that I thought the group was going to come off the Vinyl!!!!! (LOL!!!) I am also sure that "Ice Cube" was EXTREMELY thankful as well, because it helped him get his BIGGEST HIT EVER in "Today Is A Good Day"....
"Tell Me When You Need It Again (Part 1 & 2)" has that pure "Funk & Roll" sound, with the "Wah-Wah Keyboard" vibe, accompanied by the "Hovering Bass" and "Shedding Guitar" (courtesy of "Chris", "Ernie" and "Marvin")....
"Climbin' Up The Ladder (Part 1 & 2)", is "Funk & Roll" 101!!!!! It has "Ronald" displaying his roughest Vocals yet!!!! Then the group just stepped back and let "Ernie" take you to the STRATOSPHERE!!!!
"Voyage To Atlantis" has the most coolest vibe of all their "Classic Isley Slow Jams"....And, as I always said with '70's music, the title fit the vibe of the song, as it makes you feel like you are on a boat ride chillin'!!!!!!
The last two ts, "Livin' In The Life" and the "Title Track", sound almost exactly alike...On the "12 Record", they were fused together...It was a brilliant way to end this beautifully crafted album....
As you can tell from my pattern, I consider this an "Ultimate Crown Jewel" album...You can also tell that "The Brothers" refocused themselves on this one, and it paid off!!!! Because of that, they were able to last a little while longer (The "3+3" unit that is)..... -
Where do I start? The Isley Brothers Are Bad Muthas! Not only can they harmonize together and Sing, They Create Magic, Songs like Tell me When you need it again, The Popular Footsteps in the dark are just the tip of the Iceberg Tracks, Climbing up the ladder, Funk and rock combined and it works! Great Lp Album. All worthwhile Listenable Songs, Combined You Get This quality Masterpiece. If you haven't got this or listened to it before, do your self a favour and Cop the album. 10/10

Stop it. Voyage to Atlantis is an all time classic just as much as Footsteps. And Climbing up the Ladder is for every Queen of the Stone Age fan... Super crunchy rock for your listening pleasure
