Fantastic album. Granted, some parts -as is always the case with any Billy Cobham album- are pretty complex and pour a wall of music into the living room, but boy does this record contain a few magnificent little gems. Very 70s, very different, but highly enjoyable. I can only listen to this one when I have the house to myself, 'cause the Mrs. only hears 'noise' when I have it on. For the hiphop lovers amongst us: rest assured that you'll find a sample or two on Total Eclipse. Last but not least: the front cover is a beautiful piece of art. I can look at it for hours on end; artwork like this, I feel, is typical for this type of 70s releases.
