Bought this at the tender age of 9 years old for £7.99 from Andy's Records (which was a lot of money for a 9-year old back then!) I already had the Live 93 album on CD but was obsessed with The Orb at the time so had to have this for the collection. Just having a listen now after all these years & am surprised how quiet Pulsating brain sounds, very little crackle though as it's a really decent pressing so all good. Such a masterpiece & love this version of Assassin, sounds lilke a totally different track.. Although, saying that, I don't think I ever got to hear the original, if there even was one..

Just so you know a little more about the post card entry for the remix.
Minneapolis residents and Orb enthusiasts and former co-workers. One time Basement records owner and Celebrity records honcho; David Jarosz, and long time indie record store institution Let it Be (R.I.P.); now of the dot.com word and still one of the finest excuses in the country to blow all of your money on music, owner Ryan Cameron took the task of remixing and won.
Where that mix is circulating now is anyone's guess.
They got some casholies and bragging rights that they remixed the Orb.

This 12" is must-own for the nice, loudly mastered version of "Assassin", which is a totally mind-blowing track and still sounds fresh 12 years later. Lots of throbbing trippy energy and stereo seperation. Excellent pressing, excellent tune on each side.
