There is also a Venezuelan version of this record ! Released the same year (1981), with the same cover. But the name of songs are translated in spanish on the record itself. "Rainbow Brown" becomes "Arco Iris Marron" ahah, nice copy anyway. Patrick Adams is Da Man... All his work is crazy. -
Rainbow Brown were the brainchild of legendary producer/songwriter Patrick Adams. Lead vocals are gloriously provided by Fonda Rae. On the New York based label Vanguard Records, the group released their only album entitled 'Rainbow Brown', re-released here on Traffic. Classic Joey Negro sample-fest ‘Til You Surrender’ headlines the cuts here, swiftly followed by ‘I’m The One’, and the awesome disco of ‘It Aint No Big Thing’. Awesome use of strings and salsa beats, a Paradise Garage favourite of Levan and Krivit.
