The record is french. The sleeve is belgian for Benelux and german market only. The sleeve is NOT French. Not at all.

Is there any clue that this record was pressed in for Belgium market ?
It is doubtful for 3 reasons :
1. The copyright text is written in french
2. BIEM is printed in a rectangle and written in a french way : B.I.E.M. and not BIEM (in a rectangle or not) like German or Belgium pressings of the same era. You can check this on the 2 Who Brunswick french EPs (10668 & 10671)
3. Matrix / Runout :
Runout stamped Side A : O BRU 12968 PPN 2363 380
Runout stamped Side B : O BRU 12968 PPN 2364 380
Check the matrix numbers of the 2 french Brunswick EPs. They are quite similar.
Brunswick 10668 EP :
Rights Society: B.I.E.M. (in a rectangle)
Runout stamped Side A : BRU 10668 PEP 5563 380
Runout stamped Side B : BRU 10668 PEP 5564 380
Brunswick 10671 EP
Rights Society: B.I.E.M. (in a rectangle)
Runout stamped Side A : BRU 10 671 PEP 5947 380 (the 7 is superimposed over a 8)
Runout stamped Side B : BRU 10671 PEP 5948 380
I have found personnally 3 copies of this rare single at flea markets in the south of in the late seventies (without covers).
So, from my point of view, this record was pressed in and sold in and possibly in Belgium.
Take Care. -
this is one of the rarest who 45s that where pressed in in 1965 and exported to belgium, the sleeve was pressed in belgium and i have been told with NO PROOF that there where no more then 300 of these sleeves pressed and this was a 1965 release for THE BENELUX market only, the sleeve is a fold out sleeve and is very thin paper with this classic 1965 mod shot of the band, the french text is becouse again this was for the BENELUX MARKET ONLY, i have been collecting who for 37 years now and i have only seen this 45 3 times my copy is in vg+ condition, i have NEVER seen a mint or near mint copy of this and as a dealer once told me there supposedly was only 300 pressed for this market 51 years ago, the record as i said was pressed in ...............this is one of the most rare european who 45s out there im very pleased to finally own this
