found a dirty, filthy, messed up copy today. impressive sound. will give away all my reissues now, they do not hold up well to this pressing.

The mastering on this thing is brilliant. Really detailed and in your face. I'm not sure how it compares to a US stereo, but the UK stereo is superb. My copy is probably VG+, so it has some surface noise. Fortunately the music overpowers the noise mostly. It makes me want to track down a perfect copy because this really is an excellent listening experience.

This is the version of the LP I got off the 'bay a few years ago, despite being the 'stereo' version it's a lovely sounding record.
Warm with nice open treble and plenty of bass also a really good soundstage, in that it doesn't sound squashed like a 'fold down' mono to stereo mix. Heard a few of the 'modern' re issues and they sound really tame in comparison.
