"Running" is the bollocks, killer use of samples and strings, sexy bassline even the 'bottle' percussion doesn't detract; no dating this...mark of truth right there!The youtube clip sounds terrible and is pitched up...just in case you fall asleep at 120! I know the greedy gits will soon put this vinyl up to 6 million dollars each, but f-k em the vinyl is only the medium...music like this belongs to everyone.

I’ll drop another one liner for the nerds: notice how the record label has a New York address? The guys at Azuli did that as DJ’s in London and elsewhere only played house and garage that came from the States. So to shift copies of their vinyl they had to sell it as an import. Later label releases have the UK address.

This record was a staple of what at the time was called neodisco. No, not the current trend. See, back in 1992, the year where everything happened, there was this very short-lived trend of "neodisco" that swept the house scene for a few months. Acts included Kenyatta, Lifeforce, D:Ream and others, including this one. Great stuff.

Classic one and very timeless. The tracks still sound contemporary if you´re into certain Deep House. Flavoured by Disco touch, the mood of this EP is very uplifting. As herschellandplanck already mentioned before, its one of those underrated releases, only few DJs played this tracks in the 90s, i discovered this release only by random in a record store and fall in love at once. Killer release so far, as well as the follow-up "Disco Elements Vol. II".

Great early release from Azuli. Classy 'ruff disco' sounding tracks. Along with the early Nature Boy EP's (aka DJ Nature) feel. I loved these ep' s and in 92 it took my appreciation of disco music into a deeper and darker direction.
