Nirvana – Nevermind

I bought this version (sans endless) and later got the MFSL with endless. Much prefer without. The hidden track was crap. I guess it might be better than "gallons" though.

This is absolutely one of the last monster records ever made, Butch made some music production art with this one. This is the ”White Album” of Nirvana.

NIRVANA recorded and released one really good album (this one, their 2nd album "Nevermind" from 1991)!

I that this was the first original CD that I heard soon after it was released that had a silence part and a hidden bonus song merged with the last song in 12th track.

I read on Wikipedia that the first pressing of this album was without (a silence part and) a hidden bonus song in the last 12th track and that NIRVANA's front-man, vocalist and guitarist Kurt Cobain called the record label and demanded that they put the bonus song on next pressing of this album (IMO they deliberately didn't put the bonus song on the first pressing of this album (together with a silence part before it), because it sounds like some kind of improvisation and the album sounds better without it)!

Finally found "DIDX-011927 1" matrix version. Does not include "Endless, Nameless".

You'd think that with the number of colored bootlegs of this, DGC would be all-the-fuck-over it pressing it in every color known to the human eyeball. People would buy one of each for sure. Just another mystery. If anyone's got an unofficial colored version on blue or teal or something they'd like to sell me for a reasonable price, send me a message I suppose.

Hi all I have a copy I doubt is original 1991 but its not silver or 180g pressing. its says 1991 geffen records barcode 7 20642 44251 7 but this cant be the 1991 version. DGC-24425-A i have the insert sleeve as well it seems like the 1991 but it cant be...

So anything before 2007 there was a tape after 2008 except perhaps a copy of the multitrack of In Utero because somehow they remix in 2013. Or before the fire it was transferred to a computer and in 2013 they make a remix for a box set. But a lot of the materials are gone. So From 2008 to 2019 the public are lied to even on the day of the fire because Univeral kept all their tapes somewhere on the New York studio lot set in a building that was probably made out of the cheapest materials possible and the entire place went in a blaze burning 99 percent. Who knows what was saved. 2019 comes the article comes out and I see a perplexed Krist Novoselic really disturbed. So during those years if you look here the amount mostly LP's are produced like wild fire. Then 2019 they make a silver copy. What was Bob Ludwig and Bernie Grundsman using to master these.
