Yeah this pressing of Something Else might not be the best pressing you can get but if your an Australian collector who's looking for this album this is a completely acceptable. It doesn't sound great but also doesn't sound bad and you get a great album all for around $15 as well which you can't say for most pressings of this album

Edited 5 years ago''Australia's Summit Records was an independent BUDGET label that released many albums during the late '60s and throughout the '70s. Most of these were reissues of albums by local and overseas artists, though there was a smattering of their own compilations and even original albums recorded specifically for Summit. There seems to be no particular affiliation with any of the major labels/distributors of the day as their catalogue has releases from most of them." (rateyourmusic.com)
I have had a few but only when I couldn't get my hands on a 'real one' inferior pressings some with extremely thin vinyl .... -
Can anyone shed some light on this release?... Obviously it has the same tracklist as Something Else From The Kinks, but released 4 years after the fact and re titled. Anyone have any information on this release?
