Frank Hulbert

Frank Hulbert (1911-2008) was a disc mastering engineer at Astor Records Pty. Ltd.. Born in London, England, he headed for Australia in 1955 and ed Astor/Mercury in their 'Tin Shed' factory in Richmond, Victoria in 1956. He retired from mastering on 31 December 1981 when Astor was sold to PolyGram.

One of Australia's most prolific mastering engineers, look for small initials scribing 'fh' or just 'f' and occasionally 'FH'.
