Agree with other comments. This live date is incredible and somehow transcends above alot of McCoy's other masterpieces. I'm obsessed with this one.

I was not ready for this 10 yrs ago when i bought it and it is still over my head ,but now in a good way Tyner is a Beast. Hard to keep up... Hard Bop is not even Close ,And its Live At Montreux July 7th 1973

A double LP of pure intense jazz. Fantastic but you have to be ready for it. This is no Sunday morning breakfast jazz.

Could be the pinnacle of Tyner's output. McC's exceptional lyricism is on display throughout & highlights why he is one of the great jazz musicians of the last half century. Absolutely mind-blowing!
