I hope everybody writing these reviews revisits them with a clear head at some point. Physical releases come in all different shapes and sizes. There are countless examples of artists releasing versions with alternative tracklists, alternative covers, bonus tracks, missing tracks … I don’t know what you are hoping to achieve by writing angry reviews on Discogs

There's been several artists who release a single that doesn't appear on an album, "Blue Monday" by New Order is probably the most famous example. Techno and house musicians release different versions of albums for CD and for vinyl because of the needs of the format, or the desire to give a second experience.
I know those two points won't help heal all of the hurt felt in these comments, but figured a little speculation on my part might help someone out there. It's a great album in both formats but I'm also feeling a bit of the whole "physical media is getting the short stick cause all the pressing plants are being overstuffed with 18 special versions of the same album" thing going on here. Peace, everyone.

EDIT: so i listened to both versions, and the web version has a LOT of references to feeling boxed in by the audience who just want pop hits forever. it really tells a whole story of faith and finding happiness. and the cd/vinyl version is that "pop hits only" version. web version frees him at the end, cd/vinyl keeps him locked in hell forever. which ending do you prefer?
