Edited 29 days agoHonestly the packaging and goodies in this alone deserves 5 stars. Most artists these days aren’t putting any care or attention into their vinyl releases. But this came with a poster and an entire book. And the sleeves actually had a liner so that they didn’t scratch the disc. AND it has fearmonger on it. Sounds amazing. So happy to have this in my collection!

deadAir you really keep one-upping yourselves :] absolutely brilliant vinyl release (with maybe new mastering for vinyl? either way - sounds better than my fishmonger standard LP) for an amazing couple of albums 💚

I'm very happy with this pressing, having multiple misses with earlier pressings (missed announcement of first pressing despite being one of the first digital purchasers on Bandcamp, missed left overs of those, sold out of second pressing on tour and so on) I took no chances and paid the ludicrous shipping charges. Despite being expensive the pressing is perfect on lovely light blue vinyl and with a nice gatefold sleeve and thick booklet. As many others here have commented this is a first rate reissue befitting of this modern classic.

The materials used were fantastic high quality, it has a lovely matte feeling sleeve, same goes for the poster and lyric book which are glossy and flawless, ultimately the printing, design, and care put into this edition is something that encourages me in the future to buy from deadAir, keep it up!
I have yet to play the records themselves, Fishmonger (side A and B) looks flawless from any marks or scuffs, and the inner-bags are appreciated, side C and D a little bit less so, side D specifically has hairline width minor scratches all the way round it (though I doubt it will affect playback), if these scratches were on a black vinyl record and not a dark blue one which I can't see so well, I think I'd be a tiny bit more annoyed but it is what it is.
This is recommended for sure, the materials used are luxury and the presentation is top notch, I'm sure the music will sound fantastic too as other reviewers have commented on.
It's the new wave of the future! -
Edited 3 months agoBought the OG back when it first came out, sold it a couple years ago, regretted it, then picked this one up when it was announced. This is the definitive version of this record, absolutely amazing presentation with all the little bonus trinkets you could ask for. Incredible sound too!

Edited 3 months agoWell, the packaging alone got me hooked. The records come in these cool anti static sleeves, which is obviously a plus. They sound AMAZING and super loud without any distortion. The lyrics book is smaller than I thought, but it's huge in pages and is super cool to flip through. This is an amazing pressing and the best version of the album. Dead air is doing it the best way possible.
