Yeah it’s indeed quite noisy at first, however try to wet clean the discs and then put them into a poly lined sleeve for one day. I did it that way and the surface noise has been reduced.
-
Great final album from Type O, however this pressing/mastering is horrible. There is some major distortion in places and the bottom end is missing. Compared to the original CD version it's like they put an ~60hz shelf on it. Also, some built in scratches/flaws at least in the copy I got.
-
Both records has a little scratch every few seconds on the left ear.
In my opinion only buy this if you're planning on having it as a conversation starter -
Excellent pressing. Sounds great. Wax is clean and clear. Quite clear vinyl with spatter of green and black. Very glad I picked this up. The record inner sleeves have a hard time fitting in the gatefold. They actually came sealed INSIDE of the gatefold and not in the gatefold sleeves. So when it was printed and folded at the plant there were some miscalculations possibly on size. Beautiful artwork. Rasputin looks badass!
-
Sounds mediocre. Why they won’t reissue it on a classic black vinyl? Probably would have sounded better.
