Edited 24 days agoFantastic sound on this. Record Industry is probably the best pressing plant in the world right now.
Sure the album was created for CD, and the sound is thicker on the original CD. But I’m still loving this vinyl. -
Edited one month agoLoved the vinyl, but I got be honest, comparing the vinyl to the CD, the CD sounds cleaner and clearer and louder. Specially on songs that are close to the runout, like "Can't Lose You", it is possible to hear a lot of distortion and hiss, while the CD is crystal clear, with no noise or distortion and has more sub bass frequencies. I don't think that this is a problem with the pressing, just a limitation of the vinyl format. Many will not agree, but sound wise I like the CD better in this case, although the cover, lyrics sheet, picture and material quality on this vinyl are awesome.

absolutely love this release. had to use my outers designated for triples and boxsets because the gatefold is that thicc. the records not so much but they're beautiful and flat as hell with zero surface noise.
the master is incredible and it was pressed perfectly. its a must have for any fan of this album. also love the proper cover art and track listing and what was on the back of the booklet. RIP Pete -
Edited 6 months agoThe sound quality of this release is impeccable, really really good.
I still miss two Great songs from the original record: "We hate everyone" and "Kill all the white people", I know not everyone likes them because they are too different from the rest of the record but I do enjoy them and I missed them on this one. -
On the 1994 digipak CD version, "Christian Woman" was missing the spoken intro, present in other editions.
This vinil reissue includes that short spoken intro. It is just a three-second difference, though, but still nice to see that re-instated. The songs in this vinyl reissue are otherwise exactly the same as that old digipak CD edition, which has always been my preferred version of the album. Beautiful and great-sounding vinyl. Great artwork. In this version, the printed lyrics to "Summer Breeze" are as sung. In the 1994 digipak CD, the version printed in the booklet was an alternate set of lyrics, for an unreleased version.
It includes most photos from the old digipak as well. Only one photo was heavily truncated: the one with the crucifix between a woman's legs, which here only shows a fragment amidst a collage of several previously unreleased photos.
For fans of the alternate digipak CD edition who would like to see this on vinyl, this new edition is a wonderful gem. The green vinyl with those black markings look stunning! -

I was quite disappointed when I opened the gatefold and noticed that ‚Black no.1’ is having runtime 8:38 only. Luckily it is just a mistake and this is the full Over 11 mins version included. Great pressing!

Edited 7 months agoDid anyone else order this version? I don't see a black vinyl variant listed here. The copy I received in the mail had the same sticker barcode as one of the green variants.

Edited 9 months agoGave it a quick wipe down with cleaner. It sounds sooo good OMG. Summer Breeze is amazing!
2nd listen. The mastering on this is so good that I can't leave my listening chair. It sounds better than the cd by far. Everything is so punchy and explosive. The bass is amazing. Atlp40wn<sansui9090<technics sbs 12's/fisher 15's.
