I was thinking about what happened to Speed Garage, the hyped genre of 1997, and this is a result, one of the most popular releases of 1999. So UK Garage is viable, more than just hype.

My copy has a non-holographic print on the front cover like Remedy but the back cover matches this copy with the extrra text above the barcode. The record has the 'exchange' matrix like this one although that could be a case of mix and match I guess.

I the first EP in the window of Selectadisc, Nottingham, in 94'. Bought it, & bought everything by the duo from there on, with 'Fly Life' being a massive track, up until 'Red Alert'.

Around the same time 'Remedy' hit the shelves, & it was well received commercially. For me, the magic was early on, where the deep house & Balearic influences served up on 'Atlantic Jaxx' were a sign of the times & less pop influenced. Their sound was unique. It was the same story with Daft Punk after the genius of 'Homework'. Fair play to all for getting paid!

I'll stick with their earlier stuff...

Re-listening to my copy for the first time in about 15 years and kinda loving it. Way Ahead of its time.

This vinyl release has a couple extended versions of songs on it, which is pretty cool and those versions are hard to find elsewhere. Album is cheap on the second hand market, snag a copy if you see one.

Stop 4 Love is the gem hiding in the background, great tune. . . . . .

This album was huge when it came out, but after 18 years... there's not much left of it. A lot of quality music has been made since.

Yes, i have found a difference between the original UK vinyl and the Canadian cd version. Mostly, the intro on Red Alert is much longer.

So just picked this up and the version of Rendez-Vu has a longer intro than what i have digitally. Was there a CD/vinyl difference? Anyone know?
