I have both On ep's, they sound really good to my ears, no issues in fidelity, however, they both have the largest amount of non-fill I have ever noticed on any records I own. Doesn't seem to affect the music to me but it's still worth noting. Also my copy of the 1st ep is pressed a tad off center, again it doesn't affect the sound to a level I notice. Just felt worth mentioning to anyone else looking to buy these. I still wouldn't mind a repress.

One of the best sounding records I own. Beautiful gatefold sleeve that has an empty slot for the remixes 12''....which I recently added to complete it. One of my favorite recs for sure.

I bought this around release date, and to this day it is still one of my two fave Aphex records, but...
Whenever I listen to it, I can't help but think "Was Richard James aware and inspired by Crocheted Doughnut Ring's Nice, from 1967? The meoldy is not exactly the same, but big similarities, even hte sound seems so Aphexey.

Either way, if he was inspired by this, that's still mighty cool.

Anybody had issues with the pressing of On 1 and 2. I bought both as a double-pack and it's really sketchy. Seems to jump and wants to skate in places. The vinyl looks great, no issues visually at all, but both vinyl have places where they skip and skate. Really annoying and no amount of cartridge changes, turntable changes, weight/skate adjustment will solve the issue. Sigh.

Any danger of Warp reissuing this? Does the resale price not tell them something? They reissue Peel Sessions albums that no-one wants and sit on their hands when it comes to the vast back catalogue of Aphex Twin records that would fly off the shelves.

On EP and On Remixes should have different release pages, right?

D-Scape is one of the trippiest electronic music tracks i have heard. Haunting vocal snippets and moody almost harpsichord/string sounds that take you into a dark place. The pounding kick drum just tops off the hypnosis of this track. Serious stuff!!

This original "On" Track is my absolute Aphex Twin favourite Nr.1 Song!
Unique style, strong Beat, delayed piano, romantic flute and big Clarinette Sound...i love it.
An optimal mixture between classical and Synthetic Sound...unreached till today

Why are people pricing the vinyl copies for way over what people are buying them for? They won't sell at that price (unless some moron pays silly money for one and then all the prices go even higher)
