Edited 8 months agoThis does sound like the outtakes of Ecstatic Computation and there's nothing here as good as the stunning Fantas, but it's a good release nontheless that keeps giving with repeated listens. This pressing is also top notch - clear with a massive and deep sound. -
to me this sounds like some throwaway tracks from Ecstatic computation and I think that is exactly what it is. No way even close to the grandeur of that album but still worth a listen and I'm happy to own. Sound is fantastic on my copy. CB was firing on all cylinders at this point in her musical trajectory in my opinion. The newest stuff she is releasing is not hitting me the same way. Oh well that is usually the way it goes. You can't just keep copying yourself.

Edited one year agoThis is really good, very catchy, energetic with the right tension, a nice tribute to Peter Rehberg. The soundstage is BIG and WIDE.
