Edited 9 months agoAfter waiting months for this to ship and deliver, the vinyl itself came scratched. So scratched that I cannot listen to Try Me as the static and hissing is so loud it ruins the song. I purchased directly from The Weeknd’s shop.

Beautiful pressing. Quiet, vibrant, well done. Another beautiful release by The Weeknd. It’s nice to find an artist that put so much thought in his craft, down to the physical pressings. Simple, elegant and reflect the whole vibe of the EP.

Thought mine sounds amazing. No issues with mine whatsoever. So glad to finally have this masterpiece in my collection

Edited one year agoI hadn't cleaned it and played it right outside of the record. Overall sounds great no major qc problems besides crackling on the quieter parts (will clean and see how it sounds afterwards). Glad to finally finish my collection.

(Cleaned with the spin clean, played on the AT LP-120) after many months of delays, it finally came… and it’s not good. Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but on the lead in groove, it manages to loop so i can’t even get to the first song. If i force it to get past the loop, it loops AGAIN about 5 seconds into “call out my name”, so this is practically unplayable. Extremely disappointed that I waited through some delays for this quality of record. Side note, most likely not the pressing plant’s fault, but it’s severely warped as well.

Have both the US & EU RSD releases and now this repress which of course I opened to compare sound quality through Audacity aplication.
the 2020 EU press seems to be the overall winner with the most focused & rounded sound (less pops clicks & general vinyl sibilance)
Another thing I've noticed is that the vinyl colour/shade (even though black) reflects a bit duller when angled up to ligh when closely inspecting for imperfections....the RSD pressings both have a vivid rainbow reflection (as most clean vinyl will) but this new one just seems like they used a different batch or type of pvc pellet which I think, call me crazy, is partly why this pressing sounds a bit duller overall -
Finally received mine. It was a bit filthy, but it sounded great. Why it took so long is unclear to me, but pleased with what I got.

Let’s gooooo mine was marked as shipped from the UK Weeknd store yesterday and arrived today. Good to finally have this…Been waiting since April. Record is great, lots of bass to it 🤘
