Perhaps the ultimate record in his discography which needs to be heard on vinyl. The digital version is already immaculate but this record on vinyl feels that it was always meant to be played this way.

Need a copy of this someone please! Not trying to pay crazy price and it can be used but want it still in vg + at least as I plan to frame it

Although this is my least favorite of the Trilogy albums (still love it) this is the best of the reissues on wax in my opinion. Excellent mastering and lacquer cut. Sounds dynamic and rich... I'd say about as good as you could get from a Hi-res digital source transfer. I have noted how HoB reissues have a lot of surface noise (thanks United) but crazy enough here the surface noise is very minimal. Comparing to Echoes it's cut a bit louder and I'm sure that helps. Sonically between this and Echoes they are very similar, but Thursday is just a bit more crisp and pops that much more. Again I think that since Echoes thrives on it quiet moments it's really suffers when the wax isn't dead quiet. Gatefold is thick and durable. This product is everything I could have hoped for all things considered. It's one of the few times a URP issue doesn't screw up the final outcome.
Updated the runouts yesterday on here and it appears that they used the same stampers for these discs that were used for The Trilogy Box . It's unclear if the box set was manufactured/pressed by United, so I guess it's possible that the wax is dead quiet for that one. But you can expect the same sound here as if you pulled Thursday LP straight outta the box set.
.... also Valerie is the only Bonus track from the Trilogy set that I don't skip, so extra points there.
