I really like this German compilation as it has some very nice mixes:
1) 1965 stereo mix of a “I want to hold your hand” which was made before the George Martin mix in A collection of Beatles Oldies.
2) The Capitol mix of “I feel fine” (the one with the reverb all around)
3) All my loving has the Hi hat trick in the beginning. -
This is a very interesting album that many people overlook. There are many different variants according to the country of origin and year of pressing. The source used for the master of the STEREO pressings differs quite a lot : in some editions some tracks are in fake stereo (reprocessed from mono master), in others it is true stereo with voices on one channel and instruments on the other one. The main point is the inclusion of the stereo version of ALL MY LOVING where you can hear countdown hi hats on the very beginning ( this version was bootleged several times) and the I FEEL FINE version with whispering voices on the on one side channel. But pay attention that these two tracks rarely are together on the same album. More often you have to check the tracks to realize which version is included ( e.g. black label holland press has the stereo countdown “all my loving”, while the blue label has the”i feel fine” voices....)
