Edited 10 years agoOne of the greatest white, male singers of all time? He's certainly got a great voice, like a white Ray Charles, maybe not quite as sweet, but just as powerful, he really throws himself into every song. I watching his performance of "With A Little Help From My Friends" from Woodstock, and being stuck by not only the power of his gravely voice, but also his stage presence. It's not just Cocker who is on form, the band is great too. The songs are mainly covers, of the original compositions, "Sandpaper Cadillac" is my favourite, and with names such as Stevie Winwood and Jimmy Page amongst the ing cast, the pleasant results aren't surprising.
