A very unique packaging and a cool looking record. Unfortunately sides A, C and D on mine are plagued with the occasional pop and surface noise. Sonically, it’s decent at best. The last song sounds the best on my copy.

Welp, I (just like most reviewers) received flat and dull LP. I ordered on Mondo's website on 27 SEP 2021 and didn't receive it until 15 JUN 2023 & now listening it for the first time in 09 FEB 2024. I guess this is what you get living abroad for half a decade 😜

My copy sounds very good. Very little surface noise or none at all. A fantastic score! Hope to hear more from Carlos Rafael Rivera.

Does anyone have the Netflix.shop release and can add it to the releases? Only this mondo and standard are listed…

My copy is the half black/white, green/white vinyl which I ordered directly from Mondo. Lots of pops and cracks and surface noise on some tracks but sound is 'OK', but definitely not as good as the stunning 24-bit FLAC via Qobuz & my Linn streamer. So if it's audio quality you are after, stick to the digital file. I do however really like the packaging and the narrative and you get an extra track which is not on the digital version. Really love this soundtrack.

Wow! Compared to my copy of the solid black & white, this pressing is spotless and sounds great. I expected this one to have the sound issues but I'm pleasantly surprised that this sounds much better than the other one.

Really bad sound quality lot of distortion and pops. Cleaning didn't help much. Disappointed after almost 9 months of waiting. Only good thing about this release is packaging.

Edited 2 years agoJust got this today and unfortunately I am sending it back. It sounds horrible, very small and compressed sounding in addition to an unbearable amount of surface noise. Hopefully I just got a defective copy and they're not all like this!
EDIT: My copy is actually a different release. It has one solid black and one solid off-white disc.
Update: Yeah multiple copies the same. -
Got my copy this week and on the whole it sounds great - there's one track on each side that plays poorly, lots of repetitive hissing that comes through quite loud. Just wondered if anyone else has this, or if (as I've had it on a few coloured LPs recently) it might be something with my setup.
It looks great and when it sounds great it rally does sound great
