Contrary but not disagreeing entirely with the review below, this is a "good" pressing but I don't think it is great. It is a late 90s MPO pressing and their standards had already started to slip even then. I have heard three copies of this LP in my life and on all of them there was irritating crackly hiss at some point on the track Half Day Closing. Also the album is simply too long to be on 2 sides of vinyl-side 2 sounds squashed. The Simply Vinyl 2 disc version is absolutely beautiful and that is the version I listen to now having sold this version a few years back.

To my ears, the single vinyl version sounds a lot better than the 2lp set... the sound is less forward, more balanced n' better judged, without any lack of dynamics or presence, there is enough verve and thereness to do justice! Mind though, you will need a great tracker of a cartridge 'cause side b spans 29+ minutes n' those grooves are quite tight :-)
