This pressing still sounds very good. Bought new back in the late 70's, it has stood the test of time in my mind. Great bluesy guitar solos from the Man in Black, killer organ by Jon Lord and the dual vocals of Coverdale/Hughes are competent and strong. The recording and mastering is great. The vinyl is clean, flat, almost noise free with only a few ticks in the in-betweens and runout. One of DP's most maligned releases for some reason...but I love the varied songs.
