Much better than 2023 coloured reissue. Not so ear bleeding.

Mine came with a long scratch. Barely audible click because of it. Overall the sound is great. Strong soundstage and imaging with depth. Seems to pack more low end than I’ve heard from my CD. Surface noise is barely noticeable.

I can only repeat what Hanson_4656 wrote. The pressing quality of the record is good. That's why I would buy them again.
The style of the covers is not my thing. I don't like the thick cardboard covers. They look and feel cheap and don't fit most PP outer covers. The paper inner sleeves are very small, which is why MoFi and Nagoaka inner sleeves protrude a long way from the paper inner sleeves.
But maybe thats the way Third Man interprets vinyl aesthetics. So its part of the package.

How do they manage to make the jacket of every release I've ever had from them too big?! Seems like a petty minor detail to pick up on, but for anyone who looks after their collection and wants to put it in a protective outer sleeve? Same on the copy I've got of De Stijl and White Blood Cells. Can only assume it's deliberate, but why?! Always seem to be on heavy card with pretty cheap print quality too. For a release with a median sale price of close to 30 quid I think they have sufficient profit margin to get some basics right.

Media itself is excellent, just packaging / quality control that always seems to let them down.

I read all the reviews about Third Man's pressings of this album and they were overall mixed. So I decided to go with this version instead.

I must say, this pressing is what excellence sounds like.

              This really sounds good !

I have heard this album 100s of times . Used to play guitar to it as a kid , first time hearing it on vinyl though and you can really hear the room and the space around it .. plus the drum sound is really natural and the guitars are up in your face

It sounds incredible, nice pressing and good quality gatefold as well.

              Really impressed with it

Is this an AAA vinyl? Does anyone know about it?

Nice pressing, only downside are the glossy paper inner sleeves without plastic lining. Scuffing and marks present on the discs. Slightly bass heavy.

Wonderful edition. Great, great sound. Really surprising bonus is the artwork and quality of the cover. They used a sturdy carton, which I like very much. You don't see this very often. I have some Neil Young albums who have the same quality.
