As good as it gets.. Hank Mobley, Lee Horace Art Blakey Lou Donaldson all these guys should’ve been on the same scale in of success as much as Miles Davis.

I will just add that my copy also has 9M which I think is required here for a true first… could be wrong be seems logical

Perfect packaging and pressing. Even beats the 2009 re-issue that I also own.

My unforgettable jazz record. The first one that put me really into the genre, influenced by 4hero, who remixed a track from Horace, i found a brazilian copy for around 2-3US$. Everything here is perfect. The melodies, the balance between fast and slow tracks. Its difficult to me to pick a favorite one. My feeling is each track here its mixed each other, they have something like a "connection".
          Anyway, here my favs:
          The Outlaw
          Melancholy Mood
          Moon Rays
          Safari
