Edited 5 months agoHow did this go up in price? The record store near me have many many of this that didn't sell XD -
this is hands down the best pressing of this album. i’ve owned the hmv red, urban outfitters green and spotify picture disc and they all had distortion issues and tons more surface noise that this pressing seems to lack - thank god! not a prefect pressing and the packaging + disc is thinner than the eu copies i owned but since getting this copy, i’ve sold all my others as i only spin this one now. i adore the cover art of this copy as well, miles better than the regular cover… still haven’t forgiven lana for that travesty. -
Lovely alternate cover, but the vinyl was so noisy on side B. I ended up buying the canada clear pressing and putting it in here, it matches better anyways. -
Edited one year agoAbsolutely gorgeous cover & vinyl, though most definitely a poppy pressing throughout. Not enough of a dealbreaker for me to buy a different pressing to listen to, but for those who are sticklers for sound quality may consider keeping this one primarily as a collection item.
The record itself comes in the printed cardboard?paper? sleeve (no plastic lining) inside the gatefold; my soul about left my body trying to remove the already delicate record from its rawdogged paper sleeve without causing further friction. -
Edited one year agoThe record is gorgeous, it’s almost like sapphire especially when held up to the light. Sound wise there’s some pops but they’re not very loud and it only shows up infrequently on two songs, but everything sounds great and it’s pretty dynamic. My local record store still had several in stock, so if you manage and go hunting you might be able to avoid these marked up prices.

This is an absolutely beautiful pressing, with an absolutely beautiful alt cover. Although I will add that there was some small surface noise between tracks, but nothing thats really worth focusing on. -

My first vinyl. I got it the day I bought my first turntable. The copy sounds good to me. When I compare it to my now collection it sounds very good. -
Quite a few pops and flimsy cover when I opened tye gatefold cracks and creases appeared on the spine:(
